COURSE DESCRIPTION: This 3 credit course is based on the textbook “Did Tongues Cease?” by Dr. William M. Comfort. This study demonstrates that God’s spiritual gifts, including tongues, did not cease after 100 A.D. The course details experiences of the gifts throughout the monastic movement, the middle ages and among groups such as the Franciscans, the Waldenese, the Jensenists, the Quakers and the Methodists. This study will provide exegetical expertise, doctrinal soundness and practical application.
